Does ChatGPT or Perplexity cite your site?

We ask the assistants the questions your buyers ask and show you whether your pages appear as sources — and what they say instead. Free, no account.

What does this measure?

Whether your domain appears among the sources an AI assistant cites when asked a buyer question in your market. We derive three questions from your own site (your homepage's subject, or the head terms of your detected industry), ask ChatGPT with web search and Perplexity, and read their citations. It is a snapshot, not a ranking.

Why does the same question give different answers tomorrow?

Assistants re-retrieve sources on every request and weigh freshness, so the set of cited pages moves day to day. That is why a single check is a signal, not a score. IT Master customers get the same probe run nightly against twenty of their own queries, with the trend charted.

What makes a page get cited?

In our measurements: a direct, quotable answer near the top; a named author and a visible date; structured data that matches the page; consistent facts across your site; and being indexed by Bing as well as Google, since ChatGPT's web results lean on Bing. Our AEO Checker tests the on-page half of that list.

Is this free tool the same as the product?

It is the same probe code, pointed at one domain once. The product runs it continuously for your queries, and — more importantly — writes and publishes the pages that earn the citations.

Want the pages that earn the citations written for you?

IT Master researches, writes, checks with rival AI models and publishes to your site — then runs this probe every night on your queries.
