Jasper — Jasper calls itself "the agent workspace built for modern marketing teams", built on "100+ specialized AI agents and connected content pipelines", with Canvas for drafting, Grid for content at scale, AI Studio for custom agents and Jasper IQ as its brand and product context layer. SEO, AEO and GEO are one solution area inside it. (their public pages, checked 2026-09-02)
| Dimension | Jasper | IT Master |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | "The agent workspace built for modern marketing teams": 100+ specialised agents plus Canvas, Grid, AI Studio and Jasper IQ, spanning content, campaigns, images, research and translation. SEO and AEO are one solution area. | One job. Discover a topic from search demand, research it, write it, have rival-vendor models check it, publish it, refresh it. |
| Topic discovery | The Optimization Agent consolidates "SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies into one intelligent workflow", covering keyword research and competitive analysis. A Semrush connection "power[s] Jasper's Optimization Agent with richer search data". Google Search Console is not listed as an integration. | Topics come from real search demand: DataForSEO plus the site's own Search Console queries, queued without a person picking each one. |
| Which models write | Not published. The security page says only "We curate top LLMs, future-proofing your AI investment so marketers can focus on marketing, not model maintenance." No model is named as the engine behind an agent; the homepage mentions ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini only as general-purpose models it contrasts itself with. | Claude models write, in four tiers: Lite, Standard, Pro, Premium. |
| Checks before publish | People are the stated control: agents are "Autonomous, but not uncontrolled" and "humans stay firmly in control—setting intent, approving outputs, and adjusting direction as needed". Automated scoring published: a Copyscape plagiarism add-on, a SurferSEO add-on that analyses content "against SERP competitors", and an AI Readiness Score agent. No agent description we read mentions fact-checking or a second model reviewing the first. | Judges from a different vendor than the writer (Gemini, GPT) run fact-check, novelty against the competitor pages, an E-E-A-T critique and AI-tell detection, with up to 3 revision rounds. A draft that never passes is not published. |
| Grounding in your own data | Jasper IQ, "Jasper's proprietary AI context layer": Marketing IQ, Brand IQ, Product IQ ("your source of truth for every product" — specs, claims, pricing, disclaimers), Knowledge Base, Brand Voice, Style Guide, Visual Guidelines, Audiences. Fed by upload, by "Enter URL for Jasper to scan a site", or by live SharePoint, Salesforce and Google Drive connectors. Pro caps at 2 Brand Voices, 5 Knowledge assets, 3 Audiences. | Articles are grounded in the customer's own first-party data — product data, datasheets, support Q&A — where it exists, and the novelty judge scores the draft against the competitor pages. |
| Publishing and delivery | Webflow is the named CMS: "generate, revise, translate, and repurpose content — all directly within Webflow". Also Google Docs, Sheets and Word, Slack, Monday.com, Asana, Box, SharePoint, Salesforce (Beta), BigQuery, Zapier to "5,000+ other apps", Make, Pabbly, a "Jasper Everywhere" Chrome extension, Jasper APIs, Image APIs and Jasper MCP. WordPress is not listed. source: www.jasper.ai/integrations | WordPress plugin (paste one key; articles arrive as posts with Yoast/Rank Math fields filled), @itmaster/sdk for Next.js, a REST pull feed, a signed push webhook. Shopify and Webflow set up by us on request; Wix and Squarespace get a copy-paste queue. |
| What ships with an article | Agents you run, one at a time. A Schema Markup agent generates "production-ready JSON-LD schema markup for any page of content"; an FAQ Generator writes "answer-first FAQ content from real query data"; an Entity Mapper "automatically matches each suggestion to the best available link target from your site". Image Pipelines and Image APIs cover visuals. Those attached automatically to every published article, or an IndexNow ping: not published. | Every published article carries JSON-LD schema, internal links into its cluster, a hero image and an FAQ without anyone running a step, and IndexNow pings search engines on publish. |
| AI-search visibility | "GEO & AI Optimization" to "Win the new front door of search" and "Measure how your brand performs across every major AI answer engine". Agents cover Query Planner, Gap Finder, Citable Claims and an AI Readiness Score. Usage-based features "like the GEO Hub and Agents, run on credits, which sit alongside seat-based pricing on the Business plan". The engines tracked are not enumerated on the pages we read. | A nightly loop measures Search Console alongside AI-assistant citations from GPT and Perplexity, and feeds that into which articles get refreshed. Free checks at /tools/ai-visibility-checker and /tools/aeo-checker. |
| Refreshing published pages | An SEO/AEO/GEO Rewriter agent will "Boost visibility by optimizing content for AI answers and traditional search results" when you run it. Scheduled or automatic re-running of agents against decaying pages: not published. source: www.jasper.ai/agents | A nightly loop finds decaying articles and refreshes them; the refresh passes through the same checks as a new article. |
| Languages | The Translation Agent covers 27 languages; Brand Voice shapes "tone, style, and register" across 25+ languages. | Set per site. Live tenants publish in English (cctvline.co.uk, cctvmaster.co.uk, eurocctv.co.uk) and Persian (1xai.ir). |
| Pricing model | Subscription, per seat. Pro "$69 month/seat" billed monthly or "$59 month/seat" billed yearly, 1 seat included, 7-day free trial. Business is custom-priced on a 12-month minimum and adds the no-code agent builder, Jasper Grid, API access, enterprise governance and unlimited IQ customisation. 20% non-profit discount. No free plan and no per-article price published. source: www.jasper.ai/pricing | Pay per published article from a prepaid balance. No subscription, no seats. A draft that fails the checks is not charged at the full rate. See /pricing. |
- Your team writes more than blog posts. Jasper's agent library covers campaign briefs, email sequences, landing pages, product descriptions, images, research reports and translation in one workspace.
- Brand consistency across many channels matters as much as rankings, and you want Brand IQ, a style guide and visual guidelines applied to every asset.
- You want a person approving each output. Jasper states plainly that agents are "autonomous, but not uncontrolled" and that humans set intent and approve results.
- You publish in many languages: the Translation Agent lists 27, and Brand Voice covers 25+.
- Your stack is Webflow, Slack, Salesforce, SharePoint, Semrush or BigQuery, or you want Jasper wired into 5,000+ apps through Zapier.
- You want AI-search tooling you drive yourself — Query Planner, Gap Finder, Citable Claims, Entity Mapper, Schema Markup and an AI Readiness Score — on a seat licence with a 7-day trial.
- Search content is the job you are hiring for, and you want articles discovered, written, checked and published without an editor session each time.
- You want each draft checked by a model from a different vendor than the one that wrote it, not only by a plagiarism scan and a human read-through.
- You hold first-party data — product specs, datasheets, support Q&A — and want articles built on facts that are not already on page one.
- You run WordPress or Next.js and want finished posts to arrive with schema, internal links, a hero image and an FAQ already in place.
- You would rather pay per published article from a prepaid balance than per seat per month, and want a failed draft to cost less than a shipped one.
- You want decaying pages found and refreshed nightly, rather than remembering to re-run a rewriter agent.
What Jasper is, in its own words
Jasper calls itself "the agent workspace built for modern marketing teams", built on "100+ specialized AI agents and connected content pipelines—structured, end-to-end workflows". The workspace has four named parts: Canvas for drafting, Grid for systematic content at scale, AI Studio for building your own agents, and Jasper IQ, described as "Jasper's proprietary AI context layer" holding brand voice, style, product facts and audiences.
Search sits inside that as one solution area. Jasper's SEO page calls the product "AI purpose-built for SEO" and offers "GEO & AI Optimization" to "Win the new front door of search". The Optimization Agent folds "SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies into one intelligent workflow"; an SEO/AEO/GEO Rewriter, a Research Agent and agents for entity mapping and schema markup sit in the same library as agents for email sequences, landing pages, product descriptions and translation.
Everything in the table above was read from jasper.ai on 2 September 2026. Where a page did not state something, the cell says "not published" rather than a guess.
Jasper sells a workspace where agents assist marketers. IT Master sells finished articles that models from a rival vendor had to approve.
Broad platform, narrow engine
The honest framing is scope, not quality. Jasper spans a marketing department: campaign briefs, email sequences, landing pages, product descriptions, images, market research and translation into 27 languages, all under one brand context layer. If your team produces more than articles, that breadth is the whole point, and no single-purpose SEO engine replaces it.
IT Master does one thing. It picks a topic from real search demand, researches it against competitor pages and your own data, writes it, submits it to a panel of judges, publishes what passes, then refreshes it when it decays. There is no canvas to sit in and no campaign module. Less surface area, but every stage is tuned to one outcome.
So the question is not which tool is better. It is which shape of work you are buying, and the two shapes coexist happily: a team already paying for Jasper seats can keep them for campaign work and route the long tail of informational and comparison queries through an engine. SEO automation sets out what that division of labour looks like in practice.
Who checks the draft
Jasper is explicit that people are the check. Its agents page says they are "Autonomous, but not uncontrolled", and that "humans stay firmly in control—setting intent, approving outputs, and adjusting direction as needed". It does publish scoring: a Copyscape plagiarism add-on, a SurferSEO add-on that analyses a draft "against SERP competitors", and an AI Readiness Score agent that "Analyzes your content to determine how well it performs in AI-driven search and answer engines". None of those is a second model asking whether the first one got its facts right, and no agent description we read on 2 September 2026 mentions fact-checking or verification.
IT Master puts that step inside the pipeline. Claude models write; Gemini and GPT judges then run four checks — fact-check, novelty against the competitor pages, an E-E-A-T critique, and AI-tell detection. A failed check returns specific fixes and the draft is rewritten, up to three rounds. A draft that still fails is not published.
Across 186 Standard-tier runs, 51% of drafts passed every check first time; the rest were revised or rejected. Pro-tier judges are stricter: 25% first-pass, across a small sample of 16 runs. Half the drafts needed work, and nobody had to read them to find out. See cross-model validation.
The model that writes is never the model that checks.
What the writing is grounded in
Both tools take grounding seriously, from different ends. Jasper IQ is a context layer you populate: Product IQ is "your source of truth for every product", holding specs, claims, pricing and disclaimers, and the Knowledge Base exists to "Ground every output in your company's own knowledge". You feed it by uploading text, documents, images, audio and video, by asking Jasper to "scan a site" from a URL, or through live SharePoint, Salesforce and Google Drive connectors. Pro caps that at 2 Brand Voices, 5 Knowledge assets and 3 Audiences; Business lists unlimited IQ customisation.
IT Master reads the same kind of material but aims it at one target. Research combines the top-ranking competitor pages, forum threads and the customer's own product data, datasheets and support Q&A, and the novelty judge then scores the finished draft against those competitors, so a page that only restates what already ranks does not clear the bar.
The reason it matters is plain. Facts that live in your catalogue and your support inbox are not on page one of Google, which is what makes an article hard to copy and gives an assistant a reason to cite you rather than a rival. See first-party data.
Getting the article onto the site
This is where the two diverge most. Jasper's integrations page lists Webflow as its CMS — "generate, revise, translate, and repurpose content — all directly within Webflow" — alongside Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Word, Slack, Monday.com, Asana, Box, SharePoint, Semrush, Salesforce, BigQuery, Zapier to "5,000+ other apps", Make, Pabbly Connect, the "Jasper Everywhere" Chrome extension, Jasper APIs, Image APIs and Jasper MCP. WordPress was not on that list on 2 September 2026; on a WordPress site the route is the API, Zapier, or copy and paste.
IT Master ends at the published post. The WordPress plugin takes one key and articles arrive as posts with Yoast or Rank Math fields filled. @itmaster/sdk covers Next.js, and a REST pull feed or a signed push webhook covers any other stack. Shopify and Webflow are set up by us on request; Wix and Squarespace get a copy-paste queue.
Jasper has agents that write JSON-LD, FAQs and internal-link suggestions. The difference is who runs them: here every article arrives with schema, cluster links, a hero image and an FAQ already applied, and IndexNow pings search engines the moment it goes live.
How you pay
Jasper sells seats. On 2 September 2026 its pricing page listed Pro at "$69 month/seat" billed monthly or "$59 month/seat" billed yearly, one seat included, with a 7-day free trial and limits of 2 Brand Voices, 5 Knowledge assets and 3 Audiences. Business is custom-priced on a 12-month minimum and adds the no-code agent builder, Jasper Grid, API access, enterprise governance and unlimited IQ customisation; GEO Hub actions consume credits on that plan. Non-profits get 20% off. Output is not metered by article.
IT Master has no subscription and no seats. You top up a prepaid balance and pay per published article, and a draft that fails the gauntlet is not charged at the full rate, so rejected work costs less than shipped work.
Which is cheaper depends entirely on output. A seat licence is good value for a team producing constantly across many formats, and poor value for a site that wants twenty checked articles a month and nothing else. Current rates are on /pricing, and the free site check runs before you spend anything.
questions people ask
Is Jasper an SEO tool?
It has an SEO offering inside a broader platform. Jasper's own page calls it "AI purpose-built for SEO" and names an Optimization Agent that consolidates SEO, AEO and GEO into one workflow, plus an SEO/AEO/GEO Rewriter, Query Planner, Gap Finder, Entity Mapper, Schema Markup and FAQ Generator agents, a Copyscape plagiarism add-on and a SurferSEO add-on for SERP analysis. The same platform also covers campaigns, email, landing pages, images, research and translation, so search is one job among many. IT Master does nothing except discover, write, check, publish and refresh search content.
Does Jasper publish to my site automatically?
Not the way a publishing engine does. Its integrations page lists Webflow for creating and revising content inside that CMS, plus Jasper APIs, a Jasper MCP server and Zapier to "5,000+ other apps"; WordPress was not listed on the page we read on 2 September 2026. Jasper also states that humans set intent and approve outputs. IT Master publishes a passing article itself, as a WordPress post, through the Next.js SDK, a REST pull feed or a signed push webhook, with schema, internal links, a hero image and an IndexNow ping already applied.
Does Jasper fact-check what it writes?
Its public pages do not describe one. We read the homepage, pricing, agents, Jasper IQ, SEO and security pages on 2 September 2026: no agent description mentions fact-checking or verification, and the published checks are a Copyscape plagiarism add-on, a SurferSEO scoring add-on, an AI Readiness Score and human approval. Jasper also does not name the models behind its agents; the security page says only that it curates "top LLMs". IT Master's fact-check is a separate pipeline step run by a Gemini or GPT judge, never by the Claude model that produced the draft.
Can I run Jasper and IT Master together?
Yes, and the split is fairly natural. Keep Jasper for campaigns, email, landing pages, product copy, images and translation, where the agent library and the brand context layer earn their seat price. Route the long tail of informational, comparison and question-shaped queries through IT Master, where each article is checked by rival-vendor models and published on its own. Both land on the same website by different doors, so agree in advance which URL patterns belong to which, and keep each topic cluster owned by one of them.
How does Jasper's pricing compare with IT Master?
The shapes differ. Jasper charges per seat per month: on 2 September 2026 its pricing page listed Pro at "$69 month/seat" billed monthly or "$59 month/seat" billed yearly with one seat and a 7-day free trial, and Business at custom pricing on a 12-month minimum. Output is not metered by article. IT Master charges per published article from a prepaid balance, with no subscription and no seats, and a draft that fails the checks is not charged at the full rate. Volume decides which costs less; current rates are on /pricing.
